HERES the scoop on my rx7 its a 1987 mazda rx7 gxl na now mazda made a turbo version of this car called the t2 like one of the members said now my gxl came with 146hp stock very slow ,the t2 came with 182hp stock a little faster at 2700lbs so what i did was get a turbo2 motor and just dropped it in mine it had lower compression rotors the stock turbo was small so i called bnr and sent my turbo to be made into t4 hybid now thats a good enough size for me with out trying to kill myself 345hp on a 2700lb car trust me is fast and im not trying to dis the s-types but you would not even come close i have a npr intercooler and a wolf3d on it ,aeromotive fpr and 1000cc in the primarys 1600cc in the secondarys ,now my budy has a 1987 mazda rx7 turbo 2 with a jaytech intake t70 turbo and all the toy s witch should run him in the 10s i love my x-type for cruising ive always wanted a jag .....heres pics of my buddys rx7 he also has an x-type

They actually aren't too bad...I love the ford blue and the whole monochromatic paint that ford used on the 96 and 04 mystics!!! It looks sick in person and the colors are all over...blue, teal, purple, red, brown and many other colors when the sun hits and doesn't hit! The 04's have the entire seat sections in the middle are also same color as the body and with a black top convertible....man I want one but could never afford one! The cost stays steady for the cobras as they are special mustangs not just your everyday stang...I want a mustang too though...and an s-type R!!!

It is isn't it! I love those and will always love them...about 3 years ago now I was seriously looking at a 98 cobra with an offroad x-pipe which deletes the catalytic converter and had flowmaster mufflers in the back and an intake....when I showed my wife and started it I scared our puppy (molly-cocker spaniel) and Steph my wife! She thought it sounded awesome which it did!!! I so wanted it but the insurance would have sucked I'm sure!!! The older 96-02 had a 4.6 liter dohc modular motor and a 5 speed tranny....the 03 and 04 had a 4.6 dohc with an eaton supercharger...putting down 390 and many dyno tested at 410-420 in stock trim...with the same 6 speed tranny as the viper and corvette at the time...those cars with a pulley, intake, x-pipe and mufflers the car could easily put out quite a bit more power! And the entire drivetrain has been known to last for a few more hundred horsies! Man I love the car!

Oh my, didn't really think you had over 300 ponies under the hood there bud. I expected something in the area of 200 +/- 20. I knew your setup was good for way more though! Bad *** injectors too! No disrespect bud, definitely faster than even the STR! Quil, the eaton S/C sounds SOOOOOOOO bad ***!!!!

You hear the kenne belle blowzilla??? That things sounds like 4x as loud as the eaton! Don't get me wrong the eaton is nice but the kb is WAYYY better....the best part of the car is that you can easily get another 100 ponies out of the stock setup just by adding an intake, x pipe, mufflers and a pulley! I love that car....love the lightning as well!

I'd imagine they ride the same...unless you get the sport models...my sport is quite a bit more stiff...

yea man, too bad there's no more SVT to cook up something nasty for the current bodystyle mustang. Im sick of the "shelby" updates every 2 ****in weeks that cost minimum 15 grand for 10hp and stripes.
