Hello Guys, This car is driving me crazy, been from one problem to another this year, Now my gear wont switch and on Drive the car lacks power. The J gate lights are not coming up, the Sports button is also not turning on. I have tested the TCM/ECM and both are fine. Got these error codes P1642 and P1643

 

Below is a listing for the the codes P1642 and P1643. They both indicate a communication error. The most likely cause is the shifter Rotary Switch. The switch communicates the shifter position directly to the ECM, another option is the problem maybe with the shift cable.
