Default new headlight with broken part

Hi all! I purchased a brand new headlight assembly for my X-Type Sport w/ HIDs. I'll be buying another one to replace the well worn headlights that have been on there for years (headlight restoring only had limited success)

I was able to grab this brand new for $99. The only catch was there is a white plastic part on both sides that is broken which was stated in the listing. Looking for ideas on the best way to fix this. Initially I only thought it was a simple mounting bracket of some kind that needed replacing but this looks a bit more complex.

Sorry for the huge photos and Thanks!

A search on e-bay for 'X-Type Headlight Adjuster repair' will show available repair kits. Some of the sites show a link to a repair video.

Very common problem.

Better type "plastic; w/lifetime warranty

These have the pins made of metal embedded into a tougher resin. The video demonstrates the strength.
