New overhead console

Hello guys,

I bought a new overhead console from a 2006 car that has homelink. I was hoping to just remove mine and plug the new one, but the connector on mine is completely different!

Has anyone swapped their console for a newer one ?

Hmmm, can't help per se, but....

I had a simlar problem sometime ago when I upgraded the rear light clusters on my Ford Mondeo. The light clusters were identical, albeit a little more modern / nicer, but the plug connector was completely different!

A local autospark sorted it for me for beer money and around 40 mins of cutting / splicing them together.

That may be a solution for you, but lets see if the tech guru DIY guys with knowledge chime in first.

I sympathise with your dilemma! As you will be aware I'm not a pro, but you may have to rethink the plugs?

If you have the time to surf this link there is an advertised 2004 console within this list...
