I just picked up my new to me 2002 X-type 3.0 Automatic on Saturday, and I am going to be a bit of a pain on here I am sure for a while as I sort out a few items. I have a 2004 XK-8 which I have kept in good shape so I am not unfamiar with Jags, and just decided I would like to have a 4 wheel drive one for our Canadian Winter.
I just noticed driving last night that every time I take my foot off the brake there is a electric switch type clict from the gear shift pod, probably the interlock switch. I know it is supposed to cliock when you put the break on to get out of park, anybody know why it might be doing it with every touch of the break?
