That speaks a lot about race. He can do something like that and still live to tell about it. That's something that I couldn't do unless I were prepared to give my wife a new bath tub!

my how time flys when you have too much going on. finally finished my install about 2 weeks ago and remembered to take some pics today. i ended up trying 3 different methods for the amp rack, none of which worked. in the end i made a simple slanted box, routered it, covered it and used the inside to hide all the wiring. all 3 boxes have some industrial velcro on the bottom to hold them in place and all lines have a quick connect somewhere in the trunk so that any or all pieces can be removed within a minute. i can see by the pics that i need to adjust them all slightly to have everything centered, but for now life goes on.

i have one piece left to install still, but they are not here yet. i ordered some custom made acrylic speaker grilles and i am waiting on them to arrive. they will have the jaguar logo in the center and look similar to this:

Jim
if i ever used my boot for anything i suppose it would cut in, but that never happens. the carpeting in there is in the same condition as the interior - near perfect. probably more perfect than the interior. i still have full use of about 65% of the area, just that small section in the rear that i no longer can use. as i said before though everything is held in place with industrial velcro and all lines have quick connects, so if the need should arise i can have my trunk completely empty in under 1 minute.

to be totally honest, i am seriously considering doing another fg build and making everything into one single piece, with more curves and flowing lines but that will take a lot of brainstorming and probably be a winter project.

Yeah lol!!! Coming up on a year for real too...soon enough anyways! His pics are just barely far enough not to be able to tell what it is! I'll look on his cardomain and see if he has some better pics...doubt it but I'll give it a shot!

I'm back...just checked his cardomain and it says audiobahn for amp...audiobahn for jl subs??? No just kidding the audiobahn amps look really sweet never tested them out...I have some of their subs but new in a box...sooner or later I'll see what they sound like I know flame q series sounded good a few years back...
