Just put LEDs in my driving light buckets. Now I need HIDs to match. Also got under hood LEDs working and my interior LEDs

it is nice to have if you do need to work on something in the dark. you can use a manual switch like i did or an automatic that lights up when you open hood. both are sold at radio shack

So, these are just replacement, no modes necessary at all?

Sweet!

how is the brightness compared to the stock bulbs on the led bulbs? I was thinking about doing an hid conversion on them because I just converted my fog lights, but don't really think it is worth it because I don't use my brights all the time.

Looks cool.. Only thing I'm not crazy about is the Growler logo in the middle of your passenger airbag. Looks a bit out of place..

the volts? Also, how did you get the highbeams to work with the low beams being on?

Nice light effects, do you have to use a transformer to step down the volts on the LED's, also, how did you get the highbeams working with the low beams being on? It is a interesting look.

That is an LED bulb in the small hole on the high beam bucket . It isn't the high beam bulb itself. The high beams aren't on in pic just driving lights. No transformers are needed. All that carbon made it look so dark so I put that leaper badge there to break things up . It was a really cool badge that Mina sent me with 1 of my orders hated not to use it somehow. It is Jensen's entry level DVD unit. Pretty basic but you can add bluetooth and NAV to it

Hey, I have just noticed that you also put a growler emblem on the passenger side airbag cover. God forbid in case of an accident or if it accidently deploys make sure that metal emblem doesn't hurt the passenger's face .I don't know how to verify it's "passenger friendly" but looks cool imo

Yes I thought of that too. It's on pretty good with commercial adhesive. I wonder if the panel itself folds down or up or flys completely off in a bag deployment .

I would imagine that three out of four sides would give, leaving it to hinge out of the way in one direction.

I can't imagine it would fly completely off ... getting punched in the face with a wood panel would be just as rude as getting poked in the eye by a cat emblem!

Is that carbon fiber on the dash did you cover it or replace the pieces? Thanks. The whole job you did looks good.

HoW i managed to screw up this mod is beyond me!...i wanted to put some cool no error smd leds in my "city lights"....twisted of the cover on the battery side light and started to try to remove the bulb...its really tight in there...i tried to twist off the bulb and pull it out but it just keeps turning...in the process, my light doesnt work now! Got so frustrated covered it up and went to bed!....
Does the bulb come out by twisting it off? Maybe i loosened something? How do you get these bulbs out?!!...i would really appreciate some help....

Regarding the Growler, I'd go to a wrecker and see what a blown airbag from the same vehicle looks like. My sons BMW 325 was written off recently (he's ok and not his fault).
The windshield in front of the passenger is broken from the inside and it looks to me like the airbag cover swung upward (it's on a tether) and hit the glass.

There's a lot of power there, and I'd be cautious.
