Default Odometer in Kilometers: Will not switch to Miles

My odometer (display under speedometer) is displaying metric and I can not get it to switch back to imperial (miles). The GPS system does switch between the two, but the odometer always displays kilometers.

I have tried to switch it using the “change user settings” on GPS touch screen. I also disconnected & reconnected the negative battery terminal to see if it would be fixed on power up. I used the TEST mode on the trip / odometer display to see if it would reset and fix the problem. Nothing has worked!

Anyone have a solution?

Thanks

I can't remember off hand...But if you have the trip computer option too which you change things with the button on the end of the turn signal stalk, there is a place there for changing things..But look in your owners manual..that should tell you.

I took your advice and read the manual!
Yes, page 91, the switch (ML/km) is under the dimmer control on the left (US) side of the steering column. I had thought it was controlled and in sync with the GPS system.

Problem solved - Thanks
