Wow!! That's something. I'm actually a damage investigator for Avis Budget Car Rental Group and I agree that he's hit something pretty solid (like a pole). As you can see by the lines I drew on your pic, whatever it was, it ran the whole length down, as evidenced by the marks within the little circles. The bumper had "rebounded" back out but you can see the tear it left in the composite when it bent beyond it's threshold. That SUCKS!!
To add, there is a lack of paint from anything else on the bumper. If it would have been another car there would have been paint rub marks everywhere. He hit unpainted metal.

Very easy to see he backed up into a metal post by the angle of the hit. Notice the bumper is pushed both in and sideways. Reversing while turning the steering wheel right would have swung the front end around to the left and the rear around into the pole.

Guys, I know what you mean about killing him, but I'll do that after I get my money! JAJA! As for the police report, I keep thinking about that, but IDK! I'll sit on it, and get back to that! AND BO, GIMME A BREAK BUD! I learned something, but damn. I can see it's a HUGE pet pease of yours! If you sit ON the car, with the engine RUNNING, you can barely tell that it's RUNNING! Is that better bud?

Hey 04, my baby is still riding with a bad back! LOL! I'm going to renew my insurance policy in three weeks, and then send her to the shop! I'm doing it through my insurance, but my cousin is paying the deductible + an extra $500! What he doesn't know is that I don't pay a deductible! JAJA! I'll tell him after I get my money, cuz he thinks it's funny that my insurance is sure to be higher now for the next 3 years!

i also don't see any foreign paint on the damaged parts to support the idea that it was a hit-and-run while parked. except maybe on the broken edge of the bumper, but it's hard to tell.

Surely he hit a pole or a cement wall! I don't doubt that! I'll be nice, until I get my money! After that, I'll let you guys know what I'll do...or will I. I don't want to be encriminating myself! JAJA[sm=badbadbad.gif]

Sumthin esle to consider Biggie
If he's been out n about and reversed into a pole / streetlight etc etc. If someone saw him and he drove away without reporting it? Anyone got your number and you could be looking at criminal damage to public property!
Although I guess if you haven't heard by now you should be ok!
Just sumthin worth bearing in mind.

My first thought Jimmy! I thought maybe he hit someone and ran! I asked a fellow cop if he could do a check on my tag and all's good! No worries! I did that probably half an hour after I found out!

I work at a hospital in downtown chicago, so I've been leaving my car at home everyday and taking the train to work. So today I was walking to lunch, on inner lake shore drive, and I see my car go by on Lake Shore Drive with my mother (who is a terrible driver) in it. When I get home I'm gunna straighten this out...cuz last time she drove my old mustang, she knocked the mirror off.

You aren't going to straighten your mother out. Mothers are a learning exercise pushed onto young boys to teach them to back down to their wives later in life!

My mom drives a Buick Rendezvous. I wouldn't be caught dead in or near that car. I wash it for her, that's it.

Like a good son should.....wash your moms car I mean.
I'm guessin a Buick Rendezvous is NOT a cool car 93
Am I wrong and did you have a word with your mom about taking your wheels?
We're all dying to know
