Default One nice picture, and three bad ones.

So yeah, here's a picture of my car, which I just got a few months ago.

Can you tell where this is going yet? Here's a clue...

So, yeah. I was taking my 4 year old daughter to Disneyland, traffic stopped, I stopped, woman in the BMW behind me stopped, stupid girl in the Neon behind her, not so much with the stopping. Pow, 5000 in damage, and the worst day at Disneyland I've ever had. Car's in the shop now. Here's the pics of the damage.

First, my condolences for the accident, i myself have had two rear end accidents. From the pics, i see only bumper cover damage, maybe a bumper shock also or both. It doesn't look like your trunk got any buckling, tail lamps and rear quarters look good... I suppose I am saying, it could've been alot worse.

cute photoshoped license plate

Yea...It could've been me.

No, seriously, I'm sure you did have a bad day at Disney. Glad you and your daughter are alright though, and hope it looks better than new when you get it back.

Ouch!!! That sucks man! Thank god your daughter and yourself are doing okay! Car's are replaceable, lives aren't!

To lighten up the mood..

By the looks of the second picture, is the girl hot?

Usually women that do those french manicure things are smoking hot. Did you get her number for "car related" discussions?

She was okay, my girl is hotter. Besides, she was covered in blood from her windows exploding.

As for the damage, its worse then it looks. Yeah, the bumper is toast, but the trunk lid is also bowed. And, the floor pan in the trunk is totally warped. The trunk carpet wont sit flush because the whole rear end got pushed forward. So a new bumper, new bumper support, and new floor pans need to be welded in, and the lid needs to replaced or straightened.

Sorry to see this. Hope you have a good body shop do the work and not some Mickey Mouse outfit (sorry, couldn't resist). Hope you are back on the road again soon and it looks and drives like it did when new.

I got the car back yesterday! It looks good as new, so I'm happy again. I took it for a test run up the mountain to Lake Arrowhead, but I forgot my camera. I snapped a couple with my iPhone though.
