Default Output speed sensor circuit malfunction! P0720!

Hi guys,

The transmission isnt working well on my 2006 X-type now. Every time after I start from still, the transmission fails to work at 2000rpm. It feels like getting stuck between two gears and turning to N gear automatically. The RPM increases without accelerating the vehicle, and the transmission light is on. After three seconds the car reachers a higher gear and gets back to normal. The code reader says it is P0720, output speed sensor circuit malfunction. I'm wondering if it's caused by dirty transmission fluid, since I never changed it. Do you guys think I need to change the transmission fluid first?

Another question is that what brands of transmission fluid do you guys recommend? And what type of transmmision fluid do I need for 2006 X-type V6? How many quarts are needed? I really appreciate your answer.

Have a good one!
