i had a high idle of 1k-1200 rpm. rpm searched between 1200-1700 when coasting in gear. and horrible drivetrain clunk when on or off the throttle in gear while driving. no codes at first then p0507(rpm higher than expected). no vacuum leakes anywhere. my tps sensor was adjusted all the way right(clockwise) toward the front of car by previous owner. i ordered a remanufactured throttle body with tps off ebay for $134. delivered. changed it out and turned the tps just a touch to the right(clockwise) and the idle dropped to 750 and stayed there. no more clunk, no more high idle, no more rpm search at speed. i now love this car. i hope this can help someone else with high idle issues.
