RE: passenger rear door lock
maybe this is dumb but just checking, went and checked the rear passenger door. all was locked and armed(lights flashed and horn sounded) then went to rear passenger door and opened it no problem because it didnt lock. none of the locking features(key fob, door switch at drivers side) njothing works but the door lock on the door. will a hard reset? disconnecting the battery help? had to program remote when i bought it a week ago. thanks, Bill

Sorry bud, I think that the problem is the locking mechanism on the door! I'd recommend taking it to the dealer ASAP before something bad happens...GOD FORBID! Common problem, and I think there is a simpler solution but before posting this I did a small search and came up empty handed! We'll wait for the others to chime in!

RE: passenger rear door lock
Actually I had this problem when I bought my car...there was something electronic they replaced but not exactly sure what boss...sorry I'm of no more help...but they replaced something in the door which I'm leaning towards the sounds of the actuator...good luck...its and easy fix at a jag dealer as a gmc dealer here in michigan had no problems figuring my problems out on the car which there were a few I made them fix before I bought the car...like a new driveshaft, new headlight relay thing that was quite expensive and a few other odds n ends...

RE: passenger rear door lock
Good luck hopefully that is the problem...if you have the availability of getting ahold of the online problem program that dealers have which they search problems for any car and diagnose the problem directly to the fix try that if not...forget the exact term the program is...
