Hey Everyone,

I am having some issues with my passenger side door lock. The door does not seem to open when i use the outer handle but it does when i open the door from the inside. I quickly examined the lock (from what i can see without opening the door panel) and saw that when i use the outer handle the latch doesn't move like it does when i use the inner handle. Any advice?

 

Hi there, I'm guessing you have an early model?
This was an issue quite common on them and was a fairly simple linkage problem iirc.

There is a how to for removing the door card and for fixing the linkage iirc.............check it out
