Top grill is a direct bolt on. The bottom grill you have to cut out the center plastic piece

Cool Dechromed

Here's the latest pics of ours.

I still have some work to do. I want to do the tail light lenses in body color. Leaving just the openings over the individual lights in the clear.

Did you paint your Jaguar letters on the trunk or is that some kind of vinyl lettering? I was thinking of doing that on mine.

No, I mask off each letter ( not really a fun thing to do), then primer, base coat. Then removed the masking tape then clear coated the whole thing. Same thing with the Jaguar head on the grill.
I didn't remove the chrome trim either, except the grill which I removed and took out the insert, which made that job a little easier.
The bumper pieces and the boot piece I simply mask off around them making sure to get the tape as close as possible. The I sanded the pieces. After sanding was finished I mask off the surrounding area then primed, base coated and clear coated. About four or five coats of each. The wheels I sanded primed and base coated and clear coated with Dupli Color wheel paint.
The British Racing Green (HGD) paint I got from AutomotiveTouchup.com along with their clear coat and primer.

I just thought of a compliment. The good thing about bland, vanilla cars is that one blends in with everyone else wonderfully.

Wow it took you a whole 10 minutes to come up with that!
And yes i would rather blend in with an "average looking" car than stand out with an ugly pos..

No fair. My wife has been driving the X Type for the past month and while I cleaned it last week, it's still nasty.

So JAGer Bomb appears to be one with an Internet persona. That way he can act like a jerk without actually facing people. I bet he is a quiet and nonconfrontational guy in the real world, otherwise he would still drive a POS Mustang.
