2002 X type 3.0 RHD. Pink oily fluid leaking from passenger side, looks like just inside the wheel? Leak seems to have stopped now, maybe because it's all gone. Thought might be coolant but it seems too oily?

 

The only pink ish fluids in an x type are the coolant, power steering fluid and if its an automatic then it can be transmission fluid. My power steering pump went on my which allowed the redish steering fluid to drip on floor on left side of car. I would check the coolant level to see if it is dropping and then check the power steering fluid level to see if that is dropping.

The control arms have s funky oil in them that can leak out. Happened to me. Cost me 600 bucks to replace.

 

Well, the coolant was low and there was some dry residue on the underneath. Replaced it, I'll see. It was a very cold morning, there's no 'relief' or anything that may temporarily give? All the other oil dips were correct. Is the brake/clutch dip in the same place for an auto?
