I was wanting to get a set of the spare tire wheels to use for winter tires. Does anyone know where you can get a set of the steelies without it costing too much? The ones I seen on ebay were more than reconditioned factory wheels.

 

Go on craigslist and search for volvo wheels. Most volvo wheels from s80's are the exact same as stock xtype wheels in center-bore and backspace but they cost on a fraction of what jaguar wheels do. Also search for some old taurus wheels with the 5x108 bolt pattern.

My current wheel setup is a set of 18" chrome venator wheels that I got from an 08 v8 s80 for $200 cause the guy on craigslist couldn't find a buyer.

Does it need to be a specific offset from any volvo if the bolt pattern is the same, or does it need to be from an s80 only?

 

What I would do is first scroll craigslist for taurus and volvo wheels and then when you find some you like, look them up and get the specifics. But to answer your question, my particular s80 wheels just happened to be PERFECT but they were a specialty wheel for the s80 and I wouldn't recommend 18's as snow tires because they are not the most cost effective when buying tires. I would go with some xc70 wheels or something else that is abundant and very cheap
