Hi genXtype,

I am in the UK and I tend to source products and get my locl dealer to do it, that tends to save a load of cash but obviously its down to

trust with your local.

You may save half the cash doing it that way but its a long shot as you don't want to take risks!

If you speak to Thermo (real name Chris) he's your side of the pond and he's great for advice and above all try to be patient and I hope

it works out!

Please note if he doesn't get back to you straight away, I am aware he is very busy!!! Hang in there, please?

The price you've been quoted is probably near to the right price for a Jaguar garage but I for sure cant be exact.

Good luck Stu

Always look for a second opinion, but actually $780 USD doesn't sound unreasonable.

genXType, that price isn't too bad. A new setup through Jaguar will set you back $985 before you start figuring in labor. So, what you are being quoted isn't too bad (making the assumption that it is a new rack and pinion). If it is a used part, then it may be a little on the high side.
