Hey guys, Long time listener, first time caller LOL.

I just purchased my 05 x-typer yesterday and noticed that the nifty little light the illuminated the high-beam (inside) headlight assembly is burnt out, I think this is the one that a PITA to replace, from what i've read, but i didn't know what they were called (are they parking lights or running lights) I through in a pair of LED license plate lights, and if the bulbs are the same size as the front i will put them in there too, I am waiting on my Festoon (tube LEDs) for the interior dome light to come in and it will also be changes, I have searched for a write up on how to change this specific bulb but didnt know what exactly it was call. cal u please give a new member a shove in the right direction?

You can really tell who youre real friends are when you buy your first Jag, alot of my "closest" friends are seemingly "hating" on me for buying a Cat. but I love it and I know theyre just envious of the little Kitty.

 

the front lil lights are 194's. you would want to have HID headlights before you put led's in there. It would not match your headlights when on. The bulb is easy to change, just take off the cover on the back of the high beam an pull the lil bulb right out. Make sure not to break the inner housing!!! The bulbs in the rear over the plate are also 194's.
