Whas up guys. Curious to know what does the little button on the bottom of the rear view mirror that’s on the windshield do ? What is its function ? Thx in advance.

 

It switches on/off the power to the electrochromic mirror, to enable or disable self dimming.

I have recently purchased over rugs for my Daimler X305. They were originally made by a firm that moved off shore from the U.K. (Poland?) One of the staff bought up the remaining lambs wool carpet stock and kept making the replacement over rugs. They look fleecy but are long wool pile with a synthetic backing. Unfortunately the only original colour left is from the X308 era and is Mocha colour. Otherwise they are correct replica replacements. I was told that for copyright reasons the Daimler or Jaguar Vanden Plas motif can not be added. Peter at Pattern One Ltd U.K. is the knowledgeable person. I'm really pleased with mine even though the mocha contrasts with the original greyish tone of the originals which disintegrated after the backing perished. The new mats seem to have an improved backing. Maybe with more demand they may chase new stock in different colours?
