Default Rear bumper side markers

Both my side marker lights have been out for a while and decided to get the bulbs changed. I checked to see if I could get access easily like the front ones through the mud flaps, but to no avail. It seems that the rear markers are closed in by a plastic mould. Is the only way to change the bulbs on these markers is to disassemble the rear bumper? If so is it a difficult process removing the bumper?

Thanks in advance.

Hey Fezz,
If you look on your front lights there is a little spring clip on one side of the light. I use a small steel pick you can go between the car and the light and depress it and it should pop out. If not try sliding the light one way and using the pick to pop it out.
Hope this helps,

Good Luck,
The DR!

Fezz, to get out the rear marker lights, get your hands on a good size flat blade screw driver and then tape up the end of the screw driver (this is done to protect the paint). Now, when you look at the marker light, you will notice that one end is pointed and the other is flat. Place the screw driver against the flat end and push the whole light assembly towards the pointy end. It should slide about a 1/4". Once you feel it stop and pressing up against something, gently pull the screwdriver and the flat end of the light assembly towards you. This should release the hook end of the light and once you get it out about 1/4", you should be able to ease up on the screw driver and pull the light out.

Hi there, both the bumper markers on my left side are out. Could it be a fuse problem that I should check first? If yes, then which fuse? If no, then can I pop out the front bumper marker the same way as the rear one? Thanks

The side marker lights on the front and rear bumpers light up? Mine haven't worked since I got the car then because I didnt know they did haha. My indicator lights in the fenders work, but the other 4 bumper side markers never lit up, although I have the euro front bumper blades now so I don't have the fronts anymore. I figured they were reflectors.

I fixed mine today and yes, both the rear and front markers pop out the way Thermo described. Very easy. My car is like a Christmas tree now.
