I recently upgraded to drilled and slotted rotors and ceramic brake pads. Everything is working fine. The main issue is that my e-brake has never worked and the little arms on the rear calipers are seized. I tried heating them, moving them, and I did get them to move with a crowbar. However they do not retract automatically. In short, I am on the market for some rear calipers.
I found a set of Ford Focus ST rear calipers for very cheap. The only difference is that the e-brake cable pass through holes are a bit different in diameter but that is an easy ream job.
The finite question at hand is whether the angle of the e-brake actuating arm will bind when the lever is applied?.
