Rear Fender Liners
Just wondering, what would be the result of removing the back fender liners. I've determined that this is whatrubs when people are in the back. The inner lining on my back passanger fender is tearing right at the seam (wherethe plasticbends to hook under the metal fender lip).
i have the same problem, so i had the liners cut a little, but i still get rubbing, so if u remove it u mite stop the rubbing. im not sure if removing it will be bad for other stuff, but water and dirt cud possibly get to places where u dont want it to.
hmmmmm........well....i suppose you can cut or remove the liner, but than every rock, dirt, and other crap that your tires fling will echo into the cabin....it will get very annoying after a while...

hm...maybe i should try bending the inner plastic fender as well. I have 225/40/18 w/ 38mm offset, and get rubs when people are in the back. I think its hitting metal though, because i have a gash in the treads of my back tires that werent there when new, and arent on the fronts....You think i can just push it with a rubber hammer or will the plastic bounce back into its original shape?
I just realized why every rock that passes under me in the nissan sounds like a machine gun beating in the cabin, I don't have the front fender liners. I guess I'll put them back on this weekend. I've just been lazy lately!
