I bought one of those Jaguar Rear Seat Entertainment systems last year when they were available at the very low price. And finally decided to pay the local dealer to install it.
The left unit (driver side) is unusably intermittent. Problem appears to be at the connector under the seat and seems to be the connectors. Any slight disturbance (rear seat passenger foot contact, sudden road bumps, any even slight contact with the cable) drops out the left channel audio, all audio, or the entire headrest unit. Careful wiggling of the cables can restore the connection until the next time. Taping the connectors together was not a fix.
Curious if anyone else had this experience and what was done about a solution.
