I'm trying to recharge my 04' X-type AC since it gets warm when I'm not accelerating the car enough.

1. Location under the hood to connect recharge kit? A pic would be awesome!
2. Is it Freon or R134A? Can they be mixed together since only R134A is available I believe..?

I guarantee you it's not Freon in an 04 or even an 02. Look at the hoses coming off the AC compressor and you'll see the valves, they look like tire valves.
