Default Recharging A/C Refrigerant HELP!!!

Hello!
I've bought a A/C refrigerant to recharge the system, but where is the connector to attached the hose?
I see there are two silver pipes by passenger side but not sure which one is the right one? One is thicker than the other.
I'd appreciate your help.

The wrong (high pressure) connection is obvious. The one you want (lp) is hidden under the cable that runs around the strut tower.

So the two I see right behind the passenger side strut are both high pressure connection?
How hard (where exactly) is to find the LP connection? Do you happened to have a pic?
I'd appreciate it much.

Post LP Connection

On the passenger side up by the firewall there are two pipes going across. Each has a pipe section the junctions off the side and turns up. They should have black caps. Your 134a refrigerant connector will only connect to the smaller one. Makes sure you use a gauge and don't over pressurize.

I've heard one saying the larger one of the two is the low pressure and one saying the smaller one is the low pressure.
I've bought a can of refrigerant, but it doesn't fit into the larger one, and the smaller one is too small so refrigerant is not fitting tight that it leaks as I try to refill through it.
I don't think any refrigerant is going in.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks I tested the smaller one again and this time it worked. However, a new issue is, the LP pressure is already 55psi which is the max based on the spec on the refrigerant can.
How should I empty it and refill/charge the AC system with new 134a?
The AC only blows cool air when I'm accelerating for enough period and then blows warm air if I'm standing still/idling.

sean, my 2005 S Type did the same thing. I just replaced the AC compressor this past saturday.

Here is an interesting link for you to look at:

Sean, I just got through reading Ricks' links (JOYCESJAG). I am going to check that out. Bottom line, I am having the exact same issue you are having. From what I have read, it is either the air compressor or the "fan controller"/maybe fans. I will let you know after I jack mine up and listen to the compressor.

Thanks,

Philippe

pboulos,
Were you able to get your ac fixed?
Have you tried the compressor valve spring modification TSB?
Thanks for sharing your experience.
