Welcome to the forum jdm2004,

I've moved your question from Jaguar Forums Feedback & Suggestion Center to X-Type forum. Members here with the same model will be able to help.

Please follow this link New Member Area - Intro a MUST - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the New Member Area - Intro a MUST forum and post some info about yourself and your vehicle for all members to see. In return you'll get a proper welcome and some useful advice about posting to the forum.

Have you checked your coolant level? If it's low that could be the easiest answer. However if you haven't kept up with reasonable coolant services I'd say your heater core is blocked. There's lots of DIY repair videos on YouTube. Here's one:

Could also be your blend door. Do a search on here about that. There is a ton of information about that. Very common problem for the X-Type.

If your coolant has been low you may also have an air trapped in the heater core.
