Hi all,

Hope you can help. I have a 2005 2.0D X-Type Sport Premium Saloon.

I have been having a lot of smoke from the back and lack of power. Have replaced both intercooler pipes, replaced the MAF sensor, cleaned air intake, checked the turbo and cleaned the EGR and replaced gaskets etc.

Finally I have found a split in the intercooler unit. There are spares on eBay pretty reasonably priced, but i have been unable to find instructions on how to replace this.

Garage is quoting £500 plus VAT.

Does anyone have instructions for this? Is it a bumper off job?

I have searched for instructions on this forum but with no luck. Apologies if they already exist.
