hi i have just bought standad white xeon hid bulbs on ebay .to replace the stock ones full front set for xtype .after reading some of the threads i am now wondering if i can simpley swop bulbs over or is there more for me to watch for. any advice please before i go ahead with swoping bulbs over.

Do you currently have xenons already equipped on the car? If you do, then yes you can just swap bulbs as long as its the same type. Typically D2S bulbs are true xenon bulb types.

If you do not have xenon and have halogen H series bulbs, then you need the entire kit with ballasts and that same type of bulb in xenon form.

I suggest ddmtuning.com for all xenon type purchases.

If you have halogens now, the correct direct replacement bulbs are...
H1 -High
H1 -Low
H11 -Fog
W5W -Front parking

Just changed mine to 5000K color in everything except the parking lights which got 8000k. Looks MUCH better, the way it SHOULD have been from the factory.
