Hello all these rims are on craiglist they are oe racing 18" rims with toyo fz4 tires which I already have and they suck (I have them right now) in the snow but oh well...anyways we may be trading the guy for the rims/tires for a 5000 watt generator and a little bit of cash no more than 200....just curious what you guys think of them...to me they kind of look like a mix of the aruba and aguilla but not exactly...I was planning on buying tires but even with getting a fat deal on some bridgestones for around 430 installed I saw these and thought...rims and tires...very tempting...anyways what do you guys think?





They will look better on mine as the wheel gap will be smaller considering I have the sport model and no chrome...

 

Looks brill but you know I prefer polished rims .Those are exact fitment for your taste

 

Yeah I'd like some polished or rather chrome ones too but they don't go very well in michigan...I'd only be able to have them on during the warm months...anymore in michigan I'd only be able to use them from may or june to about november...we actually got snow in may last year! Our road commission uses tons of salt on our roads so they'd be ruined in no time...I'd probably be able to put them on in april to november but I don't have that kind of money to get some chrome ones or the stock 18's....these are the closest I can get to without breaking the bank hopefully...well see what happens...

 

they'll look better on your sport b/c its lower than the standard. GET EM!

 

Yeah I added that at the end of my 1st post all the way at the bottom...the rims kind of look out of place on his because of that but they will look good on mine...especially for the money! Hopefully the guy bites on it cuz I'd much rather have a little better looking rims for the price I'm going to end up having to spend to get new tires alone!

 

I'm sorry quil. I hate to be negative but I just don't like em and I'm usually biased about rims. They seem like they should go on a Benz!

 

Hey to each his own...I personally think they'd look like the aguilla/aruba rims...they'd look better on my car also because it doesn't have chrome and my gap would be smaller between the wheel well and tire...a better side on pic would be better or one where you are actually trying to make the car look good...looks like he was just taking pics to take pics (you know what I mean? Not trying to show it off...)

 

Simple, and not flashy. I like em.

 

To me they look close to stock and won't break my bank if the guy will bite...well see though! Thanks btw...

 

I tried squinting my eyes to remove the chrome, lower the car, and butter up the wheels. I guess it didn't look that bad, with my eyes nearly closed.

 

Yeah lol! They don't look bad on his car but they don't look as good as they would on mine though...

 

Hey Aquill......sorry buddy, but, not keen on those rims for your X. Just my opinion, but its yours thats counts, so if you like em and they put a great big smile on your face when they're on the car......go get em!

Don't know how come jim doesn't like them they will look like stock rims on the car....here's an example they look just like the stock rims...Look at them on this volvo! They look like jag stock rims!



BTW I just got an email from the guy and he said he's putting them on ebay. The deal was he told me 800 was what he could take...well I ended up talking him into a 5000watt electric start generator for $560 which is brand new in box (we sell them) and giving him some money. Well basically he said he needed more money for them than just 240 so I said well 340 and the generator totalling 900 worth of stuff...well he just let me know he is putting them on ebay...I can't believe he's letting this go by...he's had them on craigslist for a while and still won't bite... I emailed him back and told him that my deal doesn't stand...I'm not going to be the card he has in his back pocket just incase he doesn't sell...I'm obviously the only one interested in them because he said 800 cash would take them.....whatever! I told him I'd give him 240 and the generator if he posted them on ebay but also warned him that he may not even be able to sell them for 600 on ebay...real jaguar rims are the only kind used that go for money online...especially when you can get chrome foose rims for 1500 with tires brand new...whatever I'll keep you all posted though as to what is going to happen![:@][:@][:@]

Your smoking crack or in a bad mood...they'll look nice on the x...way better than the current rims...
