Hi all,

I am looking to get an audible warning for when the drivers seat belt is not being worn. Having had a search through google, I have found that it is a standard fit on Middle East countries and Japan.

Does anyone know if it is fitted to UK models but just turned off? If so, how is it enabled? Failing that, what is the easiest and simplest way to fit an aftermarket audible warning?

PS. It is for my girlfriend who has a habit of not wearing her seat belt for every journey. She had a crash where the seat belt probably saved her from serious or fatal injuries but it broke her collar bone in the process. (I can't work it out either!?! It reinforced the need to wear a seat belt for me). Hopefully an annoying alarm will help her wear it for every journey.
