Default Serpentine belt smoke

I installed a new serpentine belt yesterday. I went with what the diagram said on how the belt should go but now my car is smoking. The belt should be the right size I gave the guy at auto zone the make, model, etc. Is there a lubricant i should spray on it or maybe the belt is tensioned too tight?
Need help

If the belt is smoking, then you have a pulley that is most likely siezed and it is causing the belt to slip acrossed it. I would search out where the smoke is coming from and go from there.
