I have a 2004 2ltr Diesel x type and having trouble with the windscreen washers. The pressure seems very low. the drivers side manages to just about spray, but nothing from the passenger side unless I hold a finger over the drivers side jets, then the passenger side works. I have blown out the jets etc but it is no better. I think the top part of the washer bottle may have a leak, not sure if this would cause low pressure. Any Ideas ??

carefully unhook the nozzle from the hood(bonnet)pull the hose off the nozzle, take a needle and clean out the orifice then use air pressure to blow from the top down (backwards). Each side has a restricter built into the line to equalize the pressure, you can blow out that too. I removed both restricters from mine and it works fine. If the spray isn't hitting the window correctly you can use a needle to readjust the little orifice till it goes where you want. They move hard and seem like you can't move them but you can.
