I sold the X-Type. I miss it already but it was time for it to go.

For those of you looking to put an aftermarket stereo in yours, I have the Nexxia Dash kit, and wiring harness, which are the only prefab dash kit you can get to put an aftermarket head unit in these cars.

It will work for an X-type or an S-type. With the really weak dollar,It's over $100 new for the harness and kit from nexxia.co.uk. Plus you have to pay and wait for shipping to the US from the UK.

I'll let both go for $50 shipped.

I don't get on here much anymore.

My car was a 2003 x-type 2.5 - had all the options, heated seats, wood wheel etc etc. It had 81.5 k miles on it, and I sold it with the stock stereo (i took all my stuff out). I got $11,500 for it because I wanted it gone quickly...
