Those pics should go in the "Be A Show Off" thread.

Default Awsome

Those pics look "AWSOME", best I've seen. I don't think I would have had the guts to go "LOW" like that, how's the ride?

Do you think you can bring that front down another half inch to match the tuck of the rear?

Nice job! I've joked, in the past, that I am going to put a roof rack and a tow ball on my S-type. Hehe.

Nothing wrong with a roof rack if you actually use it.

I hate the fanboys who put the roof racks on to somehow be "cool" but never actually use them for anything other than a place to put a bunch of stickers.

Nope, I am a credit card's width from touching tire on the bumper-to-fender seam. I might be able to get a 1/4" but the juice isn't worth the squeeze. I did get about 1/2" more than the original air struts with some modifications. There is about 1 1/4" between the chin and ground on level pavement now.

Remember, pictures always add 10mm. It is lower in person. Looks lower here

Thanks.

My friends know me as the 19/20/22 inch wheel guy and keep giving me grief for downsizing to get lower and 1 inch smaller overall diameter. I'm liking these at the moment and am curious about how long that lasts myself. The Porsche wheels are quite tasty.

In a word, gorgeous!

Any chance you have a build page for this beauty?

Stunning overall. I wonder if you can delete the emblem totally from the hood. That is the only thing where the feng shui seems a little off.

Would love to see pictures of your interior as well

Yeah but then he'd have to repaint the hood... That covers the hole where the original leaper was.

Meh, the paint on my hood is good. I may even put the leaper back on at some point.

Interior is nothing special, just black sport perf leather and a few accessories...

Great pics! Your car looks great. The head on shot is money.

The carbon fibre looks great with your after market head unit. Even the Audi S pedal covers compliment the carbon fibre look very nicely. I think your interior is equally impressive!

Was that picture taken in the garage? It's dark.

Yes, good call. Garage is necessary on interior photos or you have to put a black bedsheet over the windshield if outside - but then shadowing becomes an issue.

Initially I thought the new grill would look better without the leaper (still think it does as long as it is a full delete), but I think a leaper + emblem is better than 2 emblems up front.

That's just my 2 cents. But this is one fine looking car all the same - one of a kind.

Guess I've associated leaper with Jag like most Americans. But I have to say, for me, removing the ornament makes the X more contemporary. And younger. I like the double badge on Exexpat's car. I thought about having my hood repainted because I really like the european (no leaper) style, but the cost isn't worth it (to me anyway). I'd rather get new wheels, or golf clubs!
