Stock Rim Paint, Rim Protection, Mud flaps

Tell methat title does not sound like winter is coming!!!

My stocksilver rims are in great shape and I would like to keep them that way so I have a few questions:

The rims look to be painted and have no clear cote on them. I have some small areas that could use some touch up pant. Where do I buy the rim paint? Paint code number?
Has any one used any sealant on the rims for the winter, like “Everbrite Coatings” or “Never Wet by Rust - Olelum”?

I do not like the look of mud flaps, but I like doing body work even less. So far the factory molded Jaguar mug flapslook the best, but $25 each…ouch. Do you know of any place who sells after market ones like the factory molded ones? What do you have on your car? Photos? Ideas?

Anyone know what to use for cleaning my front alloy rims, nothing seems to work till now. Cannot use acetone or xylene, since these rims are clearcoated. Original 2001 rims.
