suspension
Hi,
Congrats and welcome!
Yes,
the jag has a fairly stiff sporty ride. This is normal. You may want to check also to see if you have the "sport" version Jag. If you do, than the ride is a tad bit more stiffer...
All good if you like the sport feel...

Racer is correct. This is not a Lincoln riding on a cloud. It's a car you are expected to drive and take part.

These guys are right. Even with the non-sport suspension, the ride is pretty stiff. However, might be a good idea to check your tire pressure. Some dealers like to put over 40 psi in the tires while the cars are sitting on the lots. I guess its to keep the tires from flat-spotting.

Hi and welcome to the forum,
The tyre pressures on the Sport (not tried on SE) are critical to ride harshness.I tries 38f/35r as per Jag on this inside of the petrol flap but found the ride too hard for the family.I lowered the pressures to 33 front and 33 rearas per their comfort settings and this made a BIG difference.Another thing that has puzzled me for a while was feeling every bump on slightly uneven roads from the back.I changed the rear arb bushes but this made no difference and amgetting the rear lower control arms replacednext Satas the bushes have started to collapse on these and the lower arm has to be changed as it comes with the bushes in place.

The rear rattly noise can often be the front lower arm. most of the rear arms do not have bushing. They have swivel joints that plain old wear out from the movement.

Some bushes can be replaced without new suspension parts but therear lower arm bushes cant be replaced seperately and need to be replaced complete.Over here the parts are around £50 each side..
Worth checking as its easy to check.
