well, i've traded my x-type 2004, yesterday for a (loaded) chevrolet volt 2012! i know right... the jag had 88000 miles and before starting having major costly issues, i decided to make the move. why a volt? when i bought the jag, i walked to work, so my commute produced 0 carbon footprint. unfortunately, last fall i was transferred and since then i've been thinking about electric/hybrid vehicles. my work commute is electric only and if i decide to hit the road, the gas generator kicks in. the car has a solid feel to it, is american made and personally i love the style.

so, i just wanted to thank everybody who has kindly and gracefully helped me out on this forum for the past 2 years.

it has encouraged me to do things myself and eased the pain on my wallet.

i wish you all well and fun with your jags.

i certainly will miss mine.
