Default thank you Jaguar Forum

The support and technical help on this forum is outstanding ! It seems the X-type has a variety of mechanical issues that can be fixed by a regular handy man with the right tools.
After one year of ownership I have saved $100's of labour costs thanks to this site. Worked performed to date:
Headlight alignment
Headlight replacement/socket repair
Cabin filter change
Heated windscreen repair
Transfer case fluid change
Exsessive foggy windsheild remedy
Exterior headlight washer mechanism
Other items that I can't recall at the moment. Despite the problems that I have encountered, its still a great car that is fun to drive, commands respect and attention when we go out and I love the styling of all Jags. Afterall, would you rather arrive in a hyundai or a cat ?
The leads on after market parts and accessories, interesting stories and the enjoyment of reading about the Jaguar motorcar have been a good pastime. Hopefully the posts of the various issues with these cars hasn't scared off too many potential buyers. lol

Thank you all. Merry christmas

I could not agree more. A friendly place to hang out to learn anything about our cars. These cars have been around long enough that if something can happen to it more than likely it has been talked about and solved on here. I check in every day, but don't post very often because I don't generally do the work on my car and do not have the technical expertise that so many of our members do, but it is comforting to know that when I do have a question I can count on my brothers here for help. The moderators do a great job!

Totally agree. I've done my brakes, my music, and lots of small jobs with help from other Jag owners.
Happy holidays.

JagXter and all:

I totally agree. This community is truely amazing! The generosity of Techs, Moderators and regular enthusiasts is a bright spot in a world that often seems unkind and selfish. JaguarForum has something else too: Teachers, people who want to share becasue that is just who they are. God bless 'em.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

I've learned to:
Remove the front bumper
Adjust headlights
remove headliner
replace air bags
Recover a corrupt ECM
Read key codes
and have access to TSBs,
electrical diagrams, parts
and service literature.

Thank you all!
