hello there jaguars , I recently bought a jaguar X type 2002 AWD. i want to swap out the standard/stock radio setup for a touch screen with navigation and bluetooth connectivity. will it be simple or do i need to look for a specific brand so It wont mess up the wiring of the jaguar? also it has buttons like if it has its own phone and buttons to hang up and pick up the phone but i do not know how to use it. can i connect that to the touch screen system as well?

 

The answer is YES you can add a touch screen with NAV and BT. You can also connect an adapter to work with the existing phone buttons. My advice would be to pay a professional shop to do it all for you. They have the experience and you can simply drop it off and pick it up. Then you can enjoy it right away. For me it's one of those jobs that are simply not work learning and doing yourself. Sort of like putting new tires on your car, just let a shop with the right equipment handle it.
