Tpsm sytem fault 08 jag
i had a flat tire. Drove few minutes with the flat
and i notived this code at my dashboard. My
tire was completly destroyed. I bought a
new tire and also put a new valve sensor
on that tire. The guy at the tire shop check
every single tire with a computer and all
appears to be fine. Code was erase and kept
poping back. Anyone can advice me?

TPMS was only offered on 2008-9 X-types here in the UK ......dont know about the US...you guys seem to get more options before us.
If they're the same as the ford system then as long as the sensors all linked up ok when the guy fitted the new one.
the system should 'reset' its self after you've driven for a few mins.
If it the tpms fault wont clear it sounds like the new sensor may not have been of OEM quality ..after all I assume the 1 wheel is all that's been touched...so you have to look back at the one bit that's been changed.
