Tranny problems!
Hi all.
I'm new to this forum, and new to the world of jaguar luxury. I recently bought a 2004 jaguar x type w/a 5 speed manual transmission. Prior owner said reverse doesn't go in. Test drove it. All 5 gears shift, but 4 gears have a grinding/whinning noise. The fifth is silent. NO REVERSE. Also to mention the engine can't rev pass 3,000 rpm.
I need some assistance.
