Unhappy Turning Signal and High beam

I just installed a Power Acoustik DVD player in my 2003 Jaguar X-Type... Now all of a sudden my Turn signal, and my High beam is not working. Also the car beeps constantly like when you put it in reverse and something is behind you!!! But the thing is, nothing is behind me, and it beeps in any gear constantly for a little while then stops... Can someone with the knowledge on this please help me out? Thank in advance for any future help...

Chronic, based on what you are describing and what has recently been done with the car, I would venture to guess that you have a damaged wire bundle around where the radio was installed. Too many things that are not related other than by wires in a common bundle to be anything else.

Thanks for the info, but I don't know all I did was follo the wire diagram online for a 03 x-type to a "T"... I had to cut wires and install everything manually because when I called the Jaguar Dealership they said that I had to do this manually because they does not make a harness for my car. It's just weird this is happening, because I didn't even touch anything, not even went under the hood....

chronic, but you moved the wiring harnesses around, right? You would have had to do this to get access to all the plugs to do the wiring. Also, there are aftermarket plugs for our cars that would have allowed you to wire the radio directly to the factory plug vice having to cut the plug and splice all the wires together. You have to buy it through Mina Gallery as I recall. If you look on here, there is a part number for the harness.

I would be pulling the radio out and checking out the harnesses back near the radio. It is possible that if you had to push to get the radio in, you could have pinched it during that. hard to say. Lots of variables with this one.
