I prefer to go for an MoT in a more confident frame of mind.

Here's an X-Type parts specialist based in Newcastle-upon-Tyne to add to your list. Even if you're looking elsewhere in the UK, it's useful for comparing prices.

Jaguar X-Type Parts - Jaguar X-Type Spares and Jaguar X-Type Breakers

They should be able to deliver anything 'next day' to Essex.

Quickco, St Modwen Road Stretford, Manchester, Greater Manchester M32 0ZH, T: 0161 865 0011.
Quickco On-Line Ordering
They specialise in ford but also do genuine Jaguar parts.

So do i how ever with the way the cars been behaving since buying it im not to confident i would like to meet the guy i brought it from again.

These are my conserns--

There seems to be a noticable tapping/ticking noise coming from the bottem of the engine end starting.

A slight nocking coming from the back end when going over speed humps.

The wheel bearing nut came lose and the caliper touched the disc afew weeks ago.

When i brought the car i found the wrong lambda sensor had been wired into the loom, sorted now but how much damage was done to the cats from it runnig rich.

Another question is am i right in thinking it can go on the brake roller machine.
