Hi I'm quite new to both here and Jaguars I have a 02 xtype and just wondered if I can up grade the heater controls from manual to digital. Thanks in advance.

 

Mark, the short answer is yes. The question becomes how much work are you wanting to do. There is a lot of other wiring that will need to be modified to make it work like you are wanting. So, how good are you with wiring and how much time are you willing to put into the effort. If you do some looking, there are topics where people have converted their cars over like you are looking at doing and they have some pretty detailed explainations of what will need to happen.

I would recommend finding a donor car in some local auto recycler so if you need anything, you can simply go back to that car and grab what you need.

with all the work that needs doing to convert have you considered doing the extra step of adding factory NAV at the same time ?
