I have a 2004 X-Type, on which the fan control module is gone.

I understand there are two types of fan control module: "early type" and "later type".

My car has the early type, I would like to upgrade it to the later type, but I understand an Adapter Harness is required as the plugs are not the same on the newer style fan control module.

Can anyone tell me what adapter harness I would require, and/or if there is any way I can figure this out online?

I would like to order the fan control module and the adapter harness at the same time, so I can install both at the same time, and avoid any chance of not having a working car for some days.

That is the adapter harness you need and the fans plug directly into the module, but may need to have the tie straps holding hte wiring in place cut to make them reach.
