Default US X-type rear differential ratios 2.5 vs 3.0

Hello,

I am assuming the final drive ratio in the rear differential is different between the US Spec Gap 2.5 vs. 3.0. Also, possibly different between standard and automatic. I am looking to match my 3.0 Auto. One wrecking yard has a one from a 2.5. I don't know if a stick or automatic but if neither are the same ratio than then I know it won't work.

I did look through the "how to" quick links pages. But found it hard to determine which links are for what. The ones that looked like they may provide the info I need pointed to PDF files. I am at work and cannot download a PDF file.

Thanks for your help!

According to spec book, it doesn't matter which engine or trans you have, all the same.

All the same throughout all VIN ranges. Part numbers all supersede to C2S47054

Kind Regards

If a premium sponsor and senior member agree, that is good enough for me. I'll go get it.

Thanks!
