Vcm or j2534 for x type 2003?

which one works for 2003 x type? I almost bought a da vina 2534.

Only the vcm works with the 2003 x type. The j2534 interface was only added in 2005. Is it possible to retrofit 2005 Ecu to the 2003?

Hi, did you ever find out if Da-Vina works for your x-type? i just purchased one, wanted to know if you ever used it?

it does not. I bought a vcm instead. If you have a 2005 and later x type then that will work.
