Default Wheel Help

Hey guys,

I just bought some wheels, stern st-1 to be exact. I bought them used with tires mounted for a pretty good deal. I am going to get them balanced either today or tomorrow so I can put them on my car. I notitced my stock lug nuts are too big to fit into the bolt holes. With that said I'm going to need to buy new ones. Does anyone know the size of our lugnuts?

Also, the wheels came with some curb rash so does anyone know of a good wheel touchup kit? The wheels are silver.

Thanks

I recently bought after market alloys and they were supplied with new wheel (lug) nuts as they require a more standard 60degree seat. The Jag stud thread is M12x1.5mm pitch and the standard lug nuts are the flat washer type. You'll need to check what type of seat you require.

After a long search I ended up using Volvo 740 series Evo Mk5 locking nuts as they were rated equal best with McGard. I have read a lot of forum posts however stating that the McGard key is weak and can break easily - especially if an air gun has been used (specifically stated not to be used).

Buy a Dremel. The right silver to use is usually Ford Argent Silver, unless they are "Hypersilver" or something - then you need something with a higher metallic content.
