Autozone $84, it seems too much for valve cover gasket.

Rock Auto has really low prices on a lot of X-Type stuff included the valve cover gaskets, and Amazon and eBay can be good less expensive sources for parts too. You can do better than $84, but for some reason the valve cover gaskets do seem more expensive for this engine than other comparable engines.

No experiences with the aftermarket valve cover gasket on the X-Type but experiences with a number of other vehicles tend to suggest that cheap is cheap for a reason, but at least you get the experience of doing it over again and can use the earlier experiences to shave minutes and hours off of the replacement times. In other words, don't buy cheap...
